David J. Sire, MD

David J. Sire, MD Board-Certified Fullerton Dermatologist and Surgeon is a noted authority on the use of lasers and light sources. A frequent lecturer and panelist at medical meetings, he is regularly called upon to train other physicians on his treatment techniques. He pioneered the use of saline injections to treat acne and other scars, and has developed several specialty skincare products. The author of ten published papers, Dr. Sire has been quoted in top national publications, including Glamour and InStyle, as well as appeared on several radio and television programs. Training & Experience

Dr. Sire graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 1967. He was a resident at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital from 1968 – 1974. He practiced medicine at the Naval Medical Center in Long Beach, CA where he served as Chief of Dermatology. Upon completion of his naval service, he began private practice at the Fullerton Medical Clinic of Dermatology in Fullerton, CA. Dr. Sire is also certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

Affiliations

Dr. Sire served as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine from 1971-1986 and from 2006-2008. He is a fellow of the American College of Phlebology, the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Sire also is a member of the Orange County Medical Association, the Orange County Dermatology Society, the Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Sire is also affiliated with St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, California since 1974.
