What is Restylane Kysse?
Restylane Kysse is the newest addition to the popular Restylane line of dermal fillers. Kysse is a clear injectable gel composed of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar in the human body that is responsible for hydrating and plumping the skin. It does this by binding with nearby water molecules.
Restylane Kysse is specifically meant for use on the lips. Once injected, Kysse adds fullness to the lips and it helps smooth wrinkles on and above the upper lip (perioral or barcode lines).*
Who is a good candidate for Restylane Kysse?
Restylane Kysse is meant to complement Restylane Silk, which was also developed for the lips. Silk is meant to provide more volume, while Kysse is intended to add soft, subtle volume to the lips, while also smoothing wrinkles around the mouth, and enhancing lip color.*
